Cheap and Cheerful LM7 Build Like the title says, I am looking to get a junkyard LM7 and do a cheap and cheerful build to the 400chp mark. It will be going into my 1991 Ford Ranger prerunner with a (stock?) 4L60E behind it.
I have done a ton of research (many threads on these forums pop up), and get conflicting data. Here is what I am looking to do:

- Gen III 5.3
- Electric Fan Kit
- Holly EFI Terminator X
- Comp Cams 54-454-11
- FAST 92mm TB
Are there better ways to make that power mark in a truck that will be primarily used offroad on higher speed desert trails?
