Have you replaced the oil pressure sensor already? It's kind of a pain to reach, but it's a cheap troubleshooting step, all things considered.
The one in my 2003 failed this summer, so that's about the same age as your '04....

Some have screens below the sensor too... look them up on YouTube. They can get clogged and force a zero reading.
