You missed the point when stated - "for simplicity sake". You avoided the question on what duration you would spec for the 5.3 to try and duplicate the 6.0 tq curve/driveability. Is it not all about displacement and VE%? How much less air does a 5.3 flow than a 6.0 with the same VE% at 2500rpm? 3500rpm? 5500rpm?

According to Richard Holdener, this stage 1 cam should make a world of difference in drivability. Can’t wait to get in in there.

Just to update this thread.
Replaced the plug wires and swapped to the BTR stage 1 truck cam v2.
It fixed the laziness, lights off quick and will do 35mph rollers.
just needs a couple more pounds of boost and a cleanup on the tune and it will be where I want.

the first tune was set at 11psi, since it was laying over etc. It would make 11.3 psi wot in 3rd gear.
With the fender exit and better throttle response now it will build 5-6 psi on the brake and make right at 14 lol.
so I haven’t been beating in it too hard
