You're in Florida, so you have 93. Run it 12:1. Get good heads like TFS 235 or equivalent, cam in the high 230's. Decent intake, 1-7/8 long tube headers. Should get you there.

Thanks y'all I finally decided I'm going with the LQ9 6.0 route with the stroker kit, i already bought the engine and starting to buy parts and I'm willing to gain the extra 70lbs for the hp and low end torque!
And will the BTR Stage 3 LS1/LS2 cam do fine with the dual springs and all that??

Easily surpass 500rwhp with that combo, it’ll need a free flowing exhaust with long tubes to make it all work.

OP the info you provided does not help us make a decision for you. We need all the details on the engine you plan to build and then adjust accordingly.

Cam
Head
Valve size
Gaskets
Etc etc.

Usually 11.5:1 is a solid choice for a medium size cam which would be in the ~230/240 112 range. 68cc heads and an ls9 gasket.

I'm going to be getting the eagle 12826 6.0 Stroker kit
BTR Stage 3 LS1/LS2 N/A cam wit dual springs
Not sure on pushrods length yet but I think 7.400 will work will have to check clearances for that
Stock 243 Heads
A dorman LS2 Intake with a 92mm Tb
Got longtubes with a full speed engineering true dual to the back
And all the supporting mods like 60lbs injectors
450lph fuel pump, upgraded oil pump and timing chain, LS9 head gasket, LS7 lifters, billet timing chain, arp head studs and main studs and I think that's it

I would recommend taking a look at the cammotion torquey stroker at 235/242-114+4. On the 243 heads, do one of two things. Do a good valve job, etc. Open it up to larger valves, say 2.05". Or else, just go aftermarket heads. And again, i'd aim for 12:1.

Measure for pushrods. Don't guess, try to calculate, or assume. go with 11/32 pushrods if you can stomach the extra dollars.

450 LPH fuel pump is way big. i'd just go with walbro 255 honestly. Also, 42 lb injectors will be plenty. No reason for 60's unless you plan to add a dry kit. You'll see the injector data is always kind of sketchy with 60's. 42's have data all day long. You can also get really good data for ZL1 injectors at 550cc, and they support 800 fwhp.

Do you already have the intake? The price of the DLS2 costs the same as a Fast 102 now, there's no point in getting one anymore.

I'm aware that this thread is a few years old and this is a shot in the dark but were you able to finish the engine? My 408 build will be very close to the specs you're running and I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect.
11.8 compression
Torquey stroker cam
245 afr heads milled to 62cc
Yella terra 1.7
FAST intake
93 octane
Thank you..😎
