Small plastic vent / fitting / plug ?

Hi,
Rebuilding a 4.8 And was left with this plastic vent thing. Anyone know where it goes? Its the one on the right, has a small tan cap on it (May have been orange at one time or different color).

That's a breather cap for the transmission or transfer case.
It's got that little white cap on it to keep any dirt or water from getting into it.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just attach a new hose onto the trans/ transfer case and run it.
