Default Comp 26918 springs. Bad batch Q's

Can anyone tell me when the bad batches of Comp 26918 springs were??

I've got a set that were made 06/01/16. I acquired these on some 243's I got in a trade. I'd like to use these, but if there's any chance of these being bad, I'll just ditch them and get some Pacs.

Would checking them in a spring tester reveal anything? If I remember right they were breaking/splintering with no warning(as if that could happen... lol).

I don't know. they're brand new, never been ran. I imagine they would test out fine.

I got these in a bunch of parts I traded for. Came on some rebuilt 243 heads. I've read a few threads on problems with a certain batch or production run. I can't find any dates, or info if they got the issue resolved with them. I e-mailed WS6 Store/RPM Speed, he doesn't have a very high opinion of them, Guess I'll swap them out for some PAC's and not worry about it.
