Default Need some input.

Ok guys, I currently have a 2002 Camaro SS with give or take 115k. I ordered TSP 225 heads with 224/228 cam, Johnson lifters and upgrade on the rocker arm trunion and 42lbs injectors. I’m getting the cam bearings replaced and my cylinder walls don’t look worn at all, I can still see the cross hatches. So my question is, should I replace the connecting rod bolts and pressure plate with ARP bolts and the second one is should I upgrade harmonic balancer with a stock or get the super damper? My car is not going to get abused it’s mostly more for me just the pure delight of driving it and an occasional ripper here and there.

Rod bolts are for people that want to over-rev their engines. It’s also asking for trouble if you don’t resize the rods. Not sure why everyone thinks rods bolts are some mandatory upgrade.

Big no on the rod bolts. I don't understand what people's fascination with swapping them out are.
