The TFS 220 as cast are really hard to beat power per dollar. They're excellent heads and lower cost than most out there.

I am looking at these heads as well for my boosted ls. They look like they have ports that are bigger than Hooker's giner after 10 kids. Bet they sound like a tugboat horn too if ya throw a lil compressed air accrossed them too.

the PRCs look really good especially with the hollow stem intake valves, thought about the TFS but hear their valves are boat anchors

TFS will have Ferrea valves from factory, they are pretty high quality.

Forget fly cutting if you’re using OEM Hypereutectic pistons. Let’s see, you’re going to cut into already weak pistons making making them even weaker, they have no reinforcement under them for reliefs. I know there are people that do it but it’s NOT the way to go. Get 11 degree pistons if you’re using 11 degree heads and not worry about it. 11.5-12:1 is not hi compression, it’s moderate, 14:1-17:1 is high compression

there's a ton of people who have fly cut stock pistons with no ill effects, and I've seen a couple threads that illustrate that a lot of material can safely be taken out on an NA motor. I'm wanting a higher compression (higher in respects to most of the cars running around) street car that could be driven anywhere without worrying about e85 or race gas.

I also have the PRC 225 heads with 62cc chambers .660" springs, flat tops with no flycut, 231/234 .629" .615" 111*

The PRC heads can use factory rocker arms while the TFS will need rollers if I recall correctly.

Nice pieces IMO

I believe I'll go with the PRCs with hollow stem intake valves, most of my stuff is TSP might as well go all the way

The TFS 220 can be had from BTR or Tick with powdered metal guides which will allow you to use factory rockers. That said, I went with PRC 225s and I'm very happy with them. The car got a lot faster.

well, go ahead ad flycut, you’ll be lowering your static compression some and you’ll be out of balance some if you just cut without disassembly. Not a good idea if you have a choice, IMO
