Install Gen 4 rods while swapping heads????

while the 862 heads are off the 4.8 due to a head issue and overheating , I’m thinking about gen 4 rods. Should I : option A- swap my 853 heads and call it a day? Option B -invest in the machine work to have the lower end balanced with improved rods hoping for more longevity ? Or am I just pissing in the wind altogether ?
If I was gonna mess with gen 4 rods and balancing (if your gonna have it rebalanced) I would just step on up to forged pistons/rods and a 3.662 stroke crank, otherwise id leave it alone lo.
