Default Drifting with LS1

Hi im trying to get my LS1 ready for some drifting. I am changing a bunch of parts CHE Trunnion kit, morel lifters, LS2 chain, mellling chain tensioner conversion, billlet dumbbell, CAnton oil pan with bafflles for LS1 240sx, oil cooler, maybe accusump if budget can handle. Now my question is.. what Oil pump should i go with? i heard Melling 1296HV... but people saying its no good cuz you can run suck alll the oil from the pan. I read couple article though.. saying if i have a aftermarket pan that has baffles to prevent oil from slushing around while road racing or drifting that it should be ok. I would think a stock oil pan while going sideways will probably get suck dry. Anyone have any good experience with drifting with wet sump system? what oil pump u runnning? Dry system is way out of my budget.

A high volume pump will NOT suck the pan dry, but chances are, you really don't need a high volume pump either, UNLESS your engine was built with looser clearances than stock A high PRESSURE pump will do you the most good.
