I was always taught not to go over 85% duty cycle, but then again I learned that on turbo car, where A/F, compression, and temperatures are way more wild than in a NA situation.
but yea, this is a exactly what i wanted to hear: at about 400rwhp you're getting close to the limit of injectors. spraying becomes a very dangerous game at that point.
keep it sane, keep it safe.

RedHard, you seem to be missing the point...I spray a WET KIT which doesnt use the injectors.

So even if I made 400rwhp with the new cam, plus a 150shot, I would be ok...Assuming I had a new fuel pump....

Do you get what I am saying??

I admit I do not know much about nitrous, beyond that's it is an oxidizer and a very cold one at that. I do know what it does for me and what challenges it poses.
I assume wet kit is where you mix the fuel with the nitrous before spraying it? Does it directly into runners then? Where do you get the fuel from? rail? fuel lines? I assume that you'd get a beefier fuel pump if you wanna do that, I don't know what are the theoretical limits of the stock one. Anyone got any numbers on that?

This whole post wasn't to bash on you or anything, it was just mostly out of frustration, as I've had a conversation few days ago with a friend of mine on a very similar topic, and he repeated just about every usual claim and 'internet truth' you could find. I just want people to understand that while LS1 is a very nice platform, there are limits, and you must know your bottlenecks. Nitrous is extra dangerous, because if you overdo it, it's not just gonna underperform, it's actually going to blow things up. That's the real point of this discussion. If I ranted a bit much, sorry, but the level of bullshit 'knowledge' is so astounding and so dangerous in this case, that it gets me a bit more passionate than I would normally be about some numbers and hoses
