Thumbs up Well, my Motor is done!!***

I got my motor all done, it isnt made to run na, it is built for N2O, so the parts arnt the lightest or the best for na use.
it is a 347 ESP ls1, LS6 esp cnc and hand ported/polished heads, ls6 intake, stock t-body, stock maf both PP, lunati pro m rods, all arp bolts, stock crank Nitrated, dimond pistion with gas ports and top coating 11-1 CR, ls6 oil pump, kooks 1 7/8" headers, 3" mandral exhaust with twisted flow mufflers, 3.73, steel drive shaft, stock water pump, stock belt size, 27" drag tires, 6 speed with spec 5i cluch. Brand new, just built.
We ran it for a little while, it sounded great!! changed the oil, and strapped it down to get a tune in it (car had no nose or lights or hood so we couldnt street tune it) but we spun it a little on the dyno to make it safe, then we did a pull to 5,700 just to see. the car made 434 hp and 392 tq at af 12.2.
Not a bad baseline, and i know with some more tunning, and miles 10-20 rwhp is deffenet, and an electric pump and lsx intake will be done this winter so that will help as well. all in all East Side Built me a great motor!!!!! I cant wait to get the TH-400 and my nozsle system finished up.
i will be racing this week i hope, so i will keep it posted

its a custom grind. ESP cam. its in the 240's and the 600's. just a small cam. hehe
it should work well with the N2O!!!!!

The only problem im having is i keep loosing my belt. I need a new tensioner. im going to get a ktek one asap.
also have light weight front brakes going in soon, and a th-400 and bmr tq arm(extrem duty) my sponh wont fit with the 400 and also the wolfe rear sway bar. It should go good real soon!

Sounds awesome Brad!! Good luck with your new motor and your quest for that 9sec slip. Once the TH400 goes in, the car should go 9's with ease!! Is you new motor and Scotty's new motor similar in specs?

Sounds slow to me Brad I'm guessing low 12s...ha.

Can't wait to see the final numbers and some times out of it. As soon as I get back from Houston (S.A.M. school) and then the beach I'm going to get my probs figured out and get some numbers hopefully.

It ran for some time, then we ran it on the dyno for a while, then we did a couple low end pulls, and brought it up a bit from there. im sure its fine.
Mike, thanks, i hope it gets here. and yes, they are similare, but my pistions are a little different, and im running ls6 heads with a little more cam. other then that i believe they are close. Brandon, good luck, cant wait to see that thing go for you.

brads cam is bigger than scotts and brad is running our CnC ls6 heads and scott has our CnC ls1 heads both combos sound great and are making nice power and both of these guys are just dying to get to the track and run some numbers with their new set ups should be some good times to follow when the new combos get dialed in

but the challenge this summer is to see which one of them goes 9s first hehe

Summer racing sucks anyway, to hot for me and the car.

Very nice setup...make sure you keep us posted. I am also hoping to do waterpump and intake/tb this winter. I hope Santa is nice to me...
