Default lifters and rocker arms

before i am asked yes i have searched and searched

i finally got my cam and i went on the mild side of a lunati voodoo cam LNT20540714

i am picking my spring kit up from a friend that are brand new never used 73925k1 Lunati (probably notice a slight pattern lol)

the heads are 243s which all will be going on my 6.0 that il be dropping into my c1500, the motor will be a summer daily and i dont intend on spinning it stupid crazy 6000-6400ish. i am having trouble picking a lifter for my application as i have heard alot of people say use stockers or ls7 lifters but im not a huge fan of the trays so iv decided on link bars and am very interested in morels i was told that the 5294s are a tighter clearance and arent DD friendly as dirty oil would not be friendly for them and a 5206 lifter would be great for me since i dont intend on spinning the holy hell out of my truck...am i in the right direction or am i lost?

as far as rockers anyone recommended a good aftermarket rocker? iv heard nothing but horror stories about scorpions and all the other aluminum roller rockers and just to go with the RPMSpeed Cathedral Port MAX EFFORT Rocker Arms w/NOFLEX Bolt but i cant order it since they dont ship to canada ,any and all advice or personal experience would be greatly appreiciated

Just use stock rockers with a quality trunnion kit. There are a few good ones but CHE is very good.

You'll be fine with stock rocker arms and LS6 beehives but upgrading the rockers wouldn't be a bad way to go and I'm with you on link bar lifters. Lunati 72532 High RPM's and Johnson 2116LSR's would be considered overkill for this application but I've ran them both with good results.

What are the cam specs?

If you're only turning 6400 RPM, spending money on link bar lifters and aftermarket rockers is pointless, you won't gain anything at all. A trunnion upgrade isn't a bad idea though for reliability.

Look up dogbone lifters stock lifter trays are basically the same thing. Although a true dogbone is far stouter. I agree with above posts - below 6500 rpm, put the money elsewhere

Morel drop in 6504 lifters and genuine GM LS2 trays works well for me with a 7000 RPM limiter. I have the Smith Brothers trunnions but the CHE kit is far superior and you don't need a press for bushing installation.
