408 rebuild what could be wrong?
only thing left it could possibly be would be the rings. So this is going on the back burner if I don't decide to part it out
I'll do another leak down, last leak down I did revealed the valves were leaking. Haven't done another since I got the heads back. It's either going to be head gasket or rings
Ok preformed a leak down on a few cylinders leak down was all within range, except 3 out of 4 of the cylinders I did I could fill air coming out of the filler cap. So I'm assuming my rings are no good
Ok so up. I figured out what was wrong. So when I reinstalled the heads there was no dial pins in to center the heads and I'm assuming the gaskets were moving around. The only reason it semi started last time I had head studs in the block I switched to arp head bolts.so I'm assuming things were no aligned correctly.
