I recently did turbo and a cam springs and seals from BTR a SPECS: 212/218 .553/.553 111+0 I also bought a pair of heads and sent them out to have them ported and machined. When I got them back and started my install I realized they were perimeter bolt. I went ahead with the install after finding valve covers. 1st goof I didn’t replace the lifters! Got it all back together and number 7 lifter is making noise fml. So I said screw it im going to do it right and started getting parts to rip it down and do it all over. I just got the heads I bought a pair of remanufactured 243 heads new H.P.I. 80 pound fuel oil pain and gaskets new cam cover and gaskets. So my question is what head gaskets should I use and is that cam the best cam to use? Or a E1480P sloppy mechanics stage 2 I purchased be better?
I also wanted to know if studs would be more appropriate or torque to yield?
The turbo is a t4 ceramic bearing 90/80 I will post pictures of it as of now. Any advice would be much appreciated as I am a novice engine builder but for naturally aspirated I have never done a forced induction. Thanks in advance! There is the cam specs for the one that’s in it. These are the rockers I want to use or just a trunnion upgrade? What is your opinion? This is the new turbo I wobbled the compressor wheel on the turbonetics! They are over rated! Lol
