Oil is coming from the front cam bearing. Also the timing chain is open to the oil pan and windage from the crankcase. I know I soaked my timing chain before installing it. It bubbles as it displaces the air.

Thanks. I watched that video already. Reason I ask is because I have my transmission out due to the rear plate leaking at the top where the oil galley crosses to the passenger side through the cover.
While this was out I pulled the oil pan to change that gasket too.
About 6 months ago I put a new damper and front seal on.
Right now im wanting to avoid pulling the new damper back off to change the front cover gasket.
Wondered just how much oil that front cover gasket really sees to make me feel better about ignoring it.
