Default Turbo forged build opinions.

Long story short, lq4 with factory 4th gen internals. Goal is 7-800 hp with a turbo. Im going.030 over to 370ci. I decided to go with forged rods and pistons (I know overkill for my goal). Studded top and bottom end.

If im already committed to that should I just go ahead and buy a forged crank? I know its overkill for my goal but then that just means ill be able to push it a little more past my goal or have cushioning. Assuming the tune is on point. I've spoken to a few other people with similar builds and they regret not going with a forged crank for peace of mind.

We are having a really good sale on Summit Pro Ls parts right now. Anything that is in stock through the 29th. You don’t need a crank but if you do want one, we have 4” strokers if you want. Same price either way. Let us know the direction you are leaning and we can get you the applicable part numbers.
