engine installation prices

Anyone have any idea how much it is installation wise to have a new engine installed an f-body?

I would guess to have a shop do it your looking at $1500

for installation only on a new longblock it would be that much?

It depends on who you go to, for a long block they will have to drop the kmember out of the car and put the motor in the bottom if its already assembled, a short block they can slide it right in the top so its less work.

We do the entire motor swap for $1000 (Removal of original motor and replacement with new prebuilt motor). Of course this does not help you out where you live

Or the local texas fbody club may have some people who can do it for beer and pizza, just make sure you check around and they know what they are doing.
