My stroker kit from scat just came in ..super exited the machine shop told me my cylinders bored out to .005 over witch is 3.903 so I ordered pistons accordingly .. these are the ones I got I think there gonna be good .. it says standard bore size on the info though has the number 3.898 but does mention 2 piston over sizes .005 and .010 now .005 is ingraved under the pistons I should be good right?

Do you, or one of your friends/associates have a good 3.000"-4.000", or 4.000"-5.000" micrometer? This would eliminate the guesswork. I'm sure the .005" indicates you have the correct size pistons. The shop who bored the block would be able to tell you, as well. Amazing how far machining has come since the 70s! Back then, the machine shop would want the pistons first, and bore each cylinder to fit each piston......

My machinist won’t touch it until he has pistons in hand. You really need to know the pistons material makeup and design in order to get piston to wall numbers as close as possible. Makes for a quieter running and better performing engine.
Ultimega, I would carry the pistons over to the shop and have them measure them before you go any further. Hopefully your good.

x2, my builder didn't do anything until he had pistons in hand to measure, including setting the 0 deck height based on piston height.
