LM7 daily/trckengine Sorry to previous commenters I accidently deleted my post im not used to forum formats. I'm planning on building a lm7 with aftermarket cam, intake manifold, and heads. (turbod) my goal is to make 700-800 rwhp to daily / track I was recommended to gap the rings and I was wondering if thats as easy as it seems..
From what Ive been told I dont need to do cams and other stuff ect. Just ring gap and a turbo should be fine. But I want to try to get out the most out of the engine NA before I turbo. if anyone has opinions leave them down below
Also how much gap would I need compared to stock?

I'll boil it down from my last reply. If turbo, no other horsepower parts are needed. Want 50 more HP? Put a 50HP turbo on it. Yes that is a bit over simplified, but basically true. This way you keep all the stock low end responsiveness and get boosted power everywhere else.
One main thing- Watch Richard Holdener's videos on turbo LS engines. There are a BUNCH of them on YouTube, and you WILL learn from them.
