Default C5R block

I’m new to the LS engines I just picked up a C5R block I was told it was used in the lemans series any other info on them is it a dry sump block or not I’ll be looking to sell it I picked it up with some other parts I bought I see there discontinued threw Gm what might be a good for the block I’d make someone a great deal on it

Sounds like a cool find.

New back in the day the C5R blocks were ~$7,000 , if you had a hook up at the local GM dealers parts counter one could be had for ~$4,500. They were the ticket to build a a big bore 427 LS in the early days.

Would be cool to see some pictures of the C5R block and various details like cylinder bores, lifter valley and mains.

Why would you buy something of which you have no clue about it??
The C5R was a racing Corvette (C5, Racing) that used 2 different engines, a 6.0 and a 7.0. Which block do you have, IF you know?
Usually when you buy something, you should have a few clues as to what it is....

at this day in age these blocks really arent anything too too special. nothing really unique about it that cant be done in an iron form for much cheaper, or an aluminum form for the same price or cheaper.
