I thought we were talking about the engine but whatever, if you look close you can see I put the factory ones back on for the summer but they are starting to show their age and I can't afford to buy nice used replacements anymore. The price has gone through the roof. At this point everybody probably needs a set of the aftermarket ones just to pass inspection anyway. Not everybody wants the export lights either, I just can't believe at this point in the car's life that there isn't a reasonably priced stock replacement tail light out there. Until I can find one, I'll only put the nice tail lights on the car when it's nice so they don't fall apart any further

I'm glad you like everything else about the car.

Everybody always buys whatever new exhaust they put on here or the newest most excitingly named Big *** cam they make. I'm sure everybody would buy a decent, honest set of tail lights for their cars as well

I see enough money wasted on here all the time. Somebody could tool us up some nice tail lights. I know it

I get it. My car came with a busted tail light. I just got lucky that the parts car I had came with what I needed. Otherwise, the car looks great.

Nice car for 7k. It will go from a "Pumpkin" to a "Pumpkin Eater" with your first high rpm clutch drop!!!!

why not just restore the stock tail lights? seperate them with a heat gun and use some chrome spray paint or even some aluminum foil tape for the reflectors and reseal them and buff the lenses.

Not a bad idea, have you done this? I have several old sets of tail lights but the reverse lenses are missing on one or two of them. I wouldn't be opposed to modifying them either. I think and all red tail light would look great
