This is my first Ls build so Im learning. I got this lq4 as a short block and it was missing a bunch of parts. I am putting it in a 69 Camaro so I bought a Holley swap oil pan. I just picked up some spare parts and included was a windage tray. Was I supposed to have a windage tray in this engine?

 

Yes, all LS engines come with one.
I don't have a picture of a stock one but im sure you can look it up to verify.

 

Ok I havent put the engine in yet so I will yank the pan back off. Thanks

 

The Holley pan I used you could cut down the truck windage tray or order a different one. I cut mine down.
