Default Pistons for 5.3 build

I am building an iron block LM7. The block is currently at the machine shop getting bored out to 3.898. I was wondering if these pistons would be good for my build, as i’m looking for forged pistons that won’t break the bank. The motor is staying NA and will retain the factory 5.3 crank and stroke. My power goal is 400+ and i’m shooting for high rpm (7k+) My rods will be forged H beams.

I was looking at the summit pro LS series as well, but these are less expensive, include rings, and are 4032 which my machinist recommends for my application. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated!

I just bought a set of the Summit Pro LS pistons and rods for my build, but I'm going turbo. However, I would recommend getting something with a small dome (2CC or so) to get your compression around 11.5:1, especially if you're looking for high RPM power. The cam you'll need to make power at 7K+ is going to have a lower DCR than a typical "street" cam, so you want that extra compression to make sure your torque doesn't really fall off down low. 4032 pistons are good for N/A, but aside from having to run slightly more piston to cylinder wall clearance with a 2618, I don't see much downside to them. If it were me, I'd be running these: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/s...make/chevrolet

Went ahead and bought them. I was considering the LS pros already but my machinist had recommended 4032. Brought it up to my professor as well and he runs the LS pros in his 1200HP chevelle, so i’m sure they’re good enough for me!
Appreciate the info!
