can you post a link to that thread? I am considering this cam in my 04 gto with the ls1. Sounds like you are also rolling with the stock lifters. How many miles on your engine? I'm at like 113k.

Sadly no, cam is STILL on the shelf. I have everything but pushrods which I'll measure for once I'm in there. It would have already been changed out but we're prepping to sell the house and move halfway across the country to reboot our lives. Cam itself shouldn't take that long, it's the tune that I'll likely be chasing my tail over.
