So what's the performance difference between the two for oil control. My current set is utilizing the Holley 302-01. is anyone using one over the other?

Do you mean windage tray??

 

Not so much the windage tray, but the oil baffle in the sump.

 

We actually manufacture Holley's baffles for them. The 302-01 is a good pan and will perform well with the baffle insert. There is no significant difference in performance between the different pans with our baffles installed. You are mainly going to be making your choice based on what fits best in your vehicle. The main advice I can give is to choose the pan with the most oil capacity that will work for you. For example, the Gen 5 Camaro / G8 oil pan holds 8 quarts, so it's a good choice if it will fit your application, but it's large.

For the same price as a baffle you can go to a fully fabricated pan that has the baffles built in and likely holds more oil. I had a moroso on my turbo 388 lsnext mustang and it was ok but had some annoying leaks. I had a mishap with jacking the car up and damaged that moroso pan. I ended up replacing with THIS cheapo unit from Speedway motors and was super pleasantly surprised. I have zero leaks with this pan and honestly it's every bit as nice as the $500 moroso unit. Just something to think about on your end.

 

The Speedway pan looks like a solid unit, however I had already purchased the 302-1 pan, and I went with the Holley baffle for now. Also I'll be adding an accusump for additional insurance.
