Default Oil Filter Bypass. to delete or not to delete?

Hey fellas, i am building a Pro LS LQ4 thats .030 over, i have a melling 10296 oil pump and have been curious about the filter bypass valve on the stock oil pan, since i will be running oil pressure up in the 80psi range (at high rpm) should i use a plug/blockoff for it? get a different pan? leave it as is? engine is going to be a turbo deal, 700ish wheel
