Lm7 5.3
Sounds like everything you've done, you've gone BACKWARDS. Particularly the bad cam choice and inferior intake.
The LM7 intake is better than the LS1 one. If it'll fit, put it back on.
Like everybody else has said, you'll probably pick up 50 HP or so with the right intake, a smaller cam, and headers. And of course, a TUNE. Can't overemphasize the importance of matching the fuel & spark to the engine's desires. NOT... I think it should have x timing, and y fuel; instead, ASK THE ENGINE. Tuning consists of making changes and seeing what makes an improvement, not dictating to the engine what it's gonna get.
What vehicle is this in? What is it used for? What gears and converter are in it?
