No, it will not hurt to unplug the vac hose off the FPR. That’s for boost reference anyway. Plug off the source, where your getting the vacuum from on the intake…double check that all nipples on the intake are sound. Take it for a short drive and let us know. Do your spark plugs indicate that it’s lean? Plugs are your friend for a visual on rich/lean conditions. Also, the intake gaskets on the early 5.3’s were prone to leak.

I’m 3 hours from Sevier county, and I have a million things going on…if not for that, I’d head your way with HP Tuners.

runs worse plugged plugs do not show lean to me they would be perfect if they were in a bigblock intake gaskets have been replaced if I can find somebody with HP tuners could they find the problem no nipple leaks
