Default Rusty cylinder walls? How long will it last? Video

So I got this engine freed up and running, I've cranked it on the stand several times and it hasn't smoked at all.
I'm just curious if anyone has ran one of these that had slight pitting on the cylinder walls and how long it ran for?

I'm not sure I'd be concerned about it if it runs well without smoking.

Buddy has one that had standing water in it for a period of time. It should have been bored out, but he put it back together any way cause he didn't want to spend any money on it... Uses oil but runs fine otherwise.
