Funny p0171 and p0174

Funny p0171 and p0174 So I don't expect this to take off but twice now I've gotten these codes and both times I was low on gas and both times I put gas in and boom it shuts off. Never seen that before on any car I've had. Kinda funny to me but also maybe someone is gonna say nope that means abc are wrong with it. Cheers good folks. It's a 2000 trans am btw.

Lol ah yes the check engine light turns off not the car but I guess that would still in fact make the light turn off. The first time I'm not gonna lie the check gauges had turned on a while before but I couldn't stop to get gas as my wife had blown a line off her tranny cooler. This time it didn't even get to the point to turn the check gauges light on probably close though.

Well, I guess it's right about what they say: "fuel delivery issues affects both engine banks equally." Fuel pump probably had cavity and introducing air into the fuel lines?
BTW, they say constantly running low on fuel is bad for fuel pumps. 🤷

Well it's funny timing too because I know my intake manifold gasket is going bad too. I need to be better about my gas, my wife gets on me all the time about it. She'll fill her Duramax once it gets to half and I'll get low and do 15/20 bucks. She's probably correct lol
