Default LQ9 build, damaged valves?

Picked up a set of 243 heads for my LQ9 build, and noticed that the valves seem to have some cupping, I’m wondering if this is normal? They all seem to be the same, have been told it’s normal, have also been told they’re nfg. There’s less than 40k miles on these heads.

I don't see anything wrong with them. Look like typical stock valves to me.
