Mikecouch440, if they were recommended by the cam grinder, all should be good. However, if they're no name brand, then no. IMHO, I have never seen springs rated for .638" lift. Kind of a bastard/outlier. Most are in .010"-.020"-.025" increments. Like .600", .625", .650", .660, etc. Where the Hell a .638" max lift came from, IDK. Maybe picked out of the air? What brand?

Gary, read the post a couple times if you need to, before you respond. It makes perfect sense to everyone here but you.

I will say that PAC springs are very good. Dont know if you want singles or duals, and if you stated, sorry for forgetting. To the point, my Cam Motion cam is just under .610" lift. My 1905 duals have about 52,000 miles on them. Which I consider a lot of miles for built LS7 valve springs. So I'm either trusting, stupid, smart, fill in the blank!! Anyway, in talking to the guy at PAC, who is a member here (Ray?), @TurboBuick6 he said those springs with only. 600" lift will last maybe 100,000 miles, depending on use. Are there better PAC springs than the 1905s? Sure. Do you really need them? Only you or the builder can answer that one......
