Default Comp HV cams?

Comp came out with these cams awhile back, but I can't find much feedback on them. They look to be right in the wheelhouse for what I'm building. Has anybody here used them or have an opinion on them? I was leaning towards the smaller 54-273-11.

I'm building an LQ9, but it will have cleaned up 799 heads, & a tbss intake(iron block tbss ls2) to go in my 2 door 2 wheel drive Tahoe. Just looking for a good daily driver that my wife can drive(which means the idle must be fairly mild), do some mild towing, but still have a nice punch when I get into it.

If I had to choose between the two I would go with the milder one for a daily driver. Here's another one to consider that has close to the same specs.

Dont mean to rain on your Comp parade, but I run only Cam Motion cams, spec'd by Allan Futral, because there have been quality control issues at Comp from time to time on several products. Never had any issues with anything Cam Motion has made for me. Your choice, and I understand that. Just my 2 cents....

I've ran Comp in just about every engine I've built with no problems, but I know in the LS world they don't have the best reputation, that's one of the reasons I was asking about them.

I was looking for something in the 214-216 @ .050 intake, 112 lsa, & .575-.600 lift, and I seen these cams were close to that range. Most all of the "truck" cams out there now have a pretty lumpy idle as so many want there dd trucks to lope like no tomorrow, and I'm not into that lopey idle.

Cam motion and Vinci have been 2 companies I was looking at.
