Default LQ9 Value&Potential Replacement

Hey all,
Working on a motor plan for my Silverado SS. 29k on the LQ9, but it needs rebuilt due to a poor tune from a whipple.

I want 600hp, i know the 4L65e will need swapped out. Two part question:
1) Whats the going value for a low mile Lq9 these days? Needs rings (assuming, had oil in 5 and 7) and pretty sure it has detonation pit in 5 &7.
2) All the rebuild/build quotes i am getting are 8500-9800 before getting into heads and not including boost or install/tuning labor. That is a 408 with a Whipple for the 600-700hp range. Do theses crate motors make more sense?
570 hp lq9

408 620hp

4048 Boosts build - then purchase whipple for this model?

First real build but at this point im getting overwhelmed with options. Its a nice weather daily/weekend warrior that takes the occasional long road trip. Sentimental truck so I want to do this right so i can enjoy it for a long time.

Paid $1000 for my LQ9, 80K mile take-out from Escalade. Great engine.
