Default Lingenfelter GT1

Hi guys, I have a 2001 Z06 that is bone stock, and I am looking to add 1 7/8” LT headers, an Offroad X pipe, and a LPE GT1 cam (with supporting valvetrain mods) - maybe also a TB and fuel injectors if they’d help at all. I’m looking at the 219/228 561/561 GT1 cam. I don’t want it to be crazy. I want to still daily drive the car and not worry about valve/guide/spring wear. The LPE GT1 seems like a minor upgrade vs a 2002+ LS6 cam.

my only concern is if I would lose any noticable power or torque with such a high intake duration compared to what I currently have. I don’t think I would, but I just want opinions. Thanks!

thats still a very mild cam, you wont lose anything down low in any usable rpm

but i would do a 1-3/4 primary header over 1-7/8 if you dont plan on ever making more power than that setup you listed above

Those 219°/228° duration, and .561" lift specs are very similar to the GM Hot Cam specs, except the Hot Cam lift is .525", IIRC.
