Help with 5.3 cam selection I'm building a 5.3 to stab into my 2001 Silverado RCSB 2wd and trying to decide on what cam to run. Its a stock compression NA LM7 with 706's, TBSS intake, 92mm throttle body, speed engineering 1 7/8 headers, automatic, probably going to be running a 3200 stall converter, 3.73 rear gear. I would like to keep the street drivability pretty good, but I am willing to lose a little. Ive been looking at 2 cams the Sum-8714r1 and the Tsp Ondgas stage 2
OnDGas stage 2 specs - 222/228 .600/.600 112
SUM-8714r1 specs - 226/230 .550 /.550 112+4
Which of these would be better for my application? Or any other cams that would be better suited.

If you want more power up high in tradeoff for some power down low, there is the new 6.0 chopacabra. But in a 5.3 truck, the cams i mentioned already are better. Even with them, you lose a little down low in exchange for gains throughout most of the range. They were made with 5.3s in mind basically.
