If the valves are hung open, it won't start. Ask me how I know this.

okay. Either way it appears my pushrods were quite a bit too long. Guess I might need to check the timing. I’m just very confident in the fact that I set the timing correctly.

If you don't degree the cam and check PTV you will never know.

This setup shouldn't have PTV issues if everything is stock.

But apparently you do. Now you need to find out why.

Start over from the beginning.

Degree the cam or at least verify dot to dot.

Verify spring install height.

Then then check PTV.

There's only a few things that are going to cause every intake valve to kiss the piston.

Have you made any progress on this? I'm curious to know what you found out.

I decided I’m going to be fly cutting the pistons. I was planning on installing a larger cam at some point so I figured I might as well. The car ran really well the way it was.

Default EAP Model

Hi, I use EAP.
I will make a model of your engine and then run the calculations.
Please provide your engine specs.

Got an oversized valve (2.06) and some 40 grit sandpaper. I cut about .060 out of them
so I would have enough clearance, she is back up and running well now!
