One is for a truck and one is for a car The lobe centers on the shelf never sway to far, One is for a car One is for a truck The valve springs don't cost more than a buck ? Artificial intelligence? Idiot proof power? Bad poetry ? Who needs to learn how to set up a valve train when there's this? I'm ok with that just tune the damn thing so it's driveable lmao

The problem with AI is it's harvesting a bunch of bad ideas and presenting them as fact. The day AI works is the day a bunch of experienced cam grinders all agree on the same thing...and that day won't be coming any time soon. The next question is questions. It didn't ask you the twenty questions back that it really takes to dial in the best cam for your app.

Couldn’t agree more here…and this is just one of thousands of things wrong with AI. It’s our fault however…humans are lazy by nature. This whole thing started with the TV remote and it’s been downhill ever since.

Nutter Humps FTW! In case anyone was wondering about this design...when 6.0 LS2/LQ9 flat top factory pistons had pretty reasonable compression ratios...adding valve reliefs put them well down of where they needed to be. LS people were afraid of domes, afraid of domes hitting chambers and afraid of hurting combustion and flame travel. The fix was making "domelets" that were projections of the valve faces themselves. Because of this, they can never hit a chamber and the natural dip in the middle deshrouds the spark plug. Under the right circumstanes, flow can be increased around the intake valves around tdc from filling the void underneath and combustion more complete without the void under the exhaust valve. Genius! lol.

Isn't AI just a program that we can't yet get right? I mean that's all we're doing Is programming something to take in information and make the best decision? Look how far the general knowledge on pcm tuning has come since we got these cars, It'll come full circle at some point think If the Terminator was spec'ing everyone's cams It would be like mad max out there haha

What's your compression ratio? (Terminator AI)
You "10:1 sir"
(Terminator AI). " It's not high enough it's not going to terminate you little baby Go look at the fuel you're using stop wasting your milk and compress and advance that stuff!".

a program that challenges me But saves my day in the end Just like a good mentor would that's what a good AI would be to me

I agree also...but, I think the trouble goes back a lot farther. Probably to the caveman that invented the round wheel...

(I know I have trouble with anything round, whether they're on my wife or my car.)

Me neither. It's "intel" comprised of mixture of opinions, not facts (no way to differentiate), which then claims "facthood" for all to believe.... or not....

People are conditioned to believe who or what they perceive to be an expert. AI is the ultimate expert.

Thanks for the props. I had these custom built 15 weeks ago or so. I spec’ed the dome design, along with Tony, to work best with what I’m building here. I had no idea Brian ever had any input on this design, although I’m not surprised. He’s a smart guy. Here’s another view of this Oreo eating beasts piston…

Very interesting! To hear the details about the design, thank you Summit.Sounds like the new 402 will be happy with these Wiseco Oreo flavor "Nutters"

Both of my pictures of the same piston.
