burning oil smell when gassed Hi, I can't find any oil leaks in my car, but I smell burning oil when I accelerate and slow down. My PVC valve is sideways and is from the '70s. Is it a problem that it's sideways and old? (New). Apart from that, I recently thought my throttle body was too closed. I pulled it (0.43v) and then (0.53v). I wonder if the throttle body being open is causing the oil vapor to escape? Or is there another reason. Thanks everyone.

I solved half of my problem with the new design. In the 2nd photo, the PVC valve is positioned upwards (it was straight in the first photo), I thought it would prevent the flow of oil. My 2nd move was to put a simple sponge that is 1'' long and thick inside the hose. If you have any other suggestions or if there is something that seems wrong, please let me know, it would be very valuable. Note: I don't know which oil model is available, could this cause problems with varieties like 0-30, 10-40, etc...?

Yeah thats your problem for sure
Just get a stock truck/van drivers side valve cover and use the internal PCV in there
That sponge is just restricting air so youre gonna be building crankcase pressure.
