Leave it to Isky to have anyone covered. Not well represented in the LS community. But Isky makes damn good stuff. Pricey, but like Jesel, probably as world class as it gets....

Just make sure you verify the measurements. The spring mics can be off. They do have adjustment though.
Welp got out to the car today and managed to get cylinder 1 springs, seals and seats removed. Installed new seat and measured install height with the new seat and retainer also confirmed with a caliper and I'm sitting at 1.85"/1.87" intake/exhaust. So I do indeed need some shims. But the rope method works like a charm

Got the driver side done today since it was so nice out in my neck of the woods. One thing I noticed was that the spring pockets are all over the place no kind of consistency with production stuff I guess. The rope stuffed in the cylinder was the best thing I've learned this year!
Since I can only do one cylinder at a time my installed heights are as close as I could get them with the sets of shims I had. I'm sitting at 1.785

Not to rain on your parade, but don't you think .030" variance is a bit on the high side?

It's all done now. And I'm well within the +-.020" for each set of valves. Had I pulled the heads off it would be a different story
