Adj. timing Chain question

Adj. timing Chain question
I have a TR227/224 112 cam w/ 4* advance ground in. I chose this since i have the stock 3.42's and wanted a little bit more down low but I'm looking at a set of 4.10's and now i may want to retard it back to maybe only 0-2* so i can have a little bit more up top where the gears may start falling. Now is there any place I can find the isntructions on how to set up the ADJ. double roller or do the instructions come w/ the set. i'm looking at the timing set from SDPC (SDCS1160). Thanks in advance

Re: Adj. timing Chain question
The instructions come with the timing chain. Usually it's just a matter of using the correct offset bushing.
Be aware that not all timing chains & gear sets are adjustable. The Cloyes and Comp Cams are adjustable, but don't know about other makes.

The slp double roller comes with instructions on how to adjust it. It adj I think 2-4-6 degrees of advanced and retard. For the ?? about top end I would maybe thunder and see what they say. I have 3:73 with my 230/224 and it pulls hard all the way till I shift.

Thanks for the info. here is the one I was looking at it's in the LS1/LS6 section of there catalog and I also saw that someone else on here used this one since its adjustable. Maybe if someone could take a look and tell its the one I want befor I order it. It looks like the same one SLP sells.
