I was wondering if anyone has a sound clip of an LS1 that has a stock cam with the rpms set to about 550rpm. I wonder if it would make the car sound lopy. I don't have a lot of money to purchase a cam yet.

Once my car is heated up 177+ my idle is at 550 in gear so I do not think you would notice. I would not go much lower or any then 550. Just save your money and buy a cam

You could install a toggle switch and connect it to one of your coil packs so you could switch it on and off when you are @ idle.
