Default Plug Gap Question

If you raise the compression of the engine, is it wise to re-gap your plugs?

I have 11.2:1 and run NGK TR55's gapped at .055". Stock gap is .060" I think. You might need to run 1 step colder on the plugs depending on how much more compression you have. Mine seem to be fine where they are.
