Spring, Retainer & keeper recommendation
What would you recommend for a Comp Cams - 216/220 .525/.532 114 LSA cam. I will probabaly not ever change to a larger cam in this setup and don't plan to spin it over (or much over) 6200.
Would LS6 springs work OK (which year)?
Can I use the stock 2001 LS1 retainers with the LS6 springs.
Would it be worth the weight savings to use titanium retainers with either LS6 or Aftermarket springs?
Thanks in advance,
Scott

Re: Spring, Retainer & keeper recommendation
Thank for the input, I was think about the 26918s. Can I just install these as is or do I need to be concerned with installed high and seat pressure?
thanks again,
Scott

The seat pressure is 90 with the 02 z06 spring, vs 130 with the 918 spring.
I do not know the mass difference between the stock and the 918.
I do not think you will ever get empirical evidence that a 02 LS6/z06 springs and Ti retainers are bad in the lift/RPM range you suggested. Just the advice that this ____ is better. When you go over .551 lift with the 02 spring you are over the 02 stock LS6 lift.
