Default Enough room for ARP head studs?

I’m looking into probably getting the hex ARP head stud kit for my up-coming head swap. Are there any clearance issues getting the heads over the studs? If so, I’ll just go with the ARP bolts or even stockers…

Thanks!

There is plenty room to do a head swap in the car with ARP head studs. Much easier than the GM torque-to-yield bolts, in my opinion.

I was told you can take out the pass side thru bolt on the motor mount and lift the motor a tad if you need the clearance.

Nice… I’ll probably go with the studs then, I’m trying to use studs where ever I can.

The header studs just aren’t practical with the LS1 though. I’d pay to see someone get my 1-7/8 KooKs LT’s over studs that are pre-installed into the head.

Maybe if you put them in like a bolt and then put the nut on it would work, still a pain though.
