Yes I think it is well worth it to get your manifold back and your stock heads as you can sell them here on ls1tech. It will be easy to sell the manifold and maybe a little harder to sell the heads, but they are worth 250 bucks. Your tranny should be fine, but you might need a higher stall ask Joe about that. Let me know what your car dyno's when they are done with it please as I am very curious how your setup works out. Know your car is in good hands with superior auto they are the best. good luck and keep me posted here at this post. Later

Now that I think about it I saw your car there when I picked up mine last thursday. I really wanted to get the afr's but I think I saved a little bit of money using my stock heads and they really flow now. I also wanted to get the fast intake , but I decided to wait until my bottom end wears out and I go back to superior then I will run a 90mm fast intake and TB with a 383 stroker. Anyway talk to you later.

My car dynoed 340/355 before with all the bolt ons and I had SLP 1:85 rockers and a Holley Lingenfelter intake that Joe Jill hated and talked **** about so I went ahead and bought a new SLP ls6 intake. I hope my car will run low 11's with some traction, but with our 10 bolts I don't want to run drag radials or slicks as we can easily blow the rear end. I am running a 295/35/18 Kumho MX tire and it has excellent traction I would recommend that tire to anybody looking for a ultra high performance street tire with almost as good of traction as a drag radial. I think you can get away with running a long tube here in Ca as long as there are cats, but if you were unlucky and they didn't like what they saw it would suck to have to pay all the labor to put the factory manifiolds back on. I figured just go the safe route and buy shorties then I bought the mufflex test pipes and an SLP y pipe and a magnaflow catback and added a qtec cutout and the exhaust obviously flows pretty good as it stands now. They only dynoed my car up to 5800 rpms and I think my car makes peak power around 6200 and they also never opened the cutout so there is a lot more power to be had. I think I could make 430 rwhp with a full pull and the cutout open. Let me know what you dyno when you pick your car up.

Yes they did dyno tune my car after the mods. I would pay extra to have them get a custom tune for your predator and tune it on the dyno. I think that is mandatory I am surprised they did not tell you that is what it needed. Your car should run pretty good even with the stock gears in it. It must need a tune really bad. I had to pay Sean Ellis 125 dollars to tune my car on the dyno and I think he had a custom tune e mailed to him then he downloaded it to my predator. Sean Ellis does most of the tuning using superior auto's dyno you can call superior and they will get ahold of Sean for you. Sean has his own web site also it is So Cal Diablo. Hope you get things worked out real soon. Let me know if you need any more info. You can e mail me or pm me or use this post.

Did they even put your car on the dyno? Is it still using the predator tune that came with the predator?

I would pay extra and have them tune using the predator before the gears are installed as you can modify the speedo yourself using the predator it is real easy.

I talked to Sean Ellis and he said he will tune your car anytime.

I would have them wait until the rear is broken in for a wot dyno tune as the predator only makes wot adjustments. The predator will also make your car run great at all points of throttle once they have a custom tune for you. Once the car is tuned at wot throttle it will stil affect all points of throttle. My car took about 300 miles of driving for it to idle properly even after the custom tune so be patient things will work out. I would have them tune your car after you log the 500 miles on the rear that way I think they will beable to give you a better more accurate tune. Keep me posted.

Bad thing is they said they took the rear end apart before dyno tuning. They said they would still be able to dyno tune it but I couldn't get a max dyno reading until I had $500 miles on it. I just don't know how they can dyno tune it if they won't be using wide open throttle.
That was a 3 carrier intead of a 2 carrier.
