Default TR230 cam profile and P/V issues

How much could I mill 5.7 heads with this cam. I have Je forged pistons with -2cc valve reliefs and also 7.350 pushrods.

I would mill them 40thous and put some thinner head gaskets on.What compression are you trying to reach anyway?I forgot what thickness that I needed for 11:1:1 compression.I am sorry but if you have more Q's then give give some sponsors a call.

We built a 346ci forged shortblock for a customer (Coach 02 Z28) with a very similar setup. He had JE pistons (2cc reliefs), TR230/224 cam, GTP 5.3l (2.02/1.57) milled .050". We had .090" of clearance on the intake side and plenty on the exhaust side.

wow .50 with 5.3l heads, I guess I am not going to worry too much then. What length pushrods did you guys use, I still have my 7.350.

Still waiting on cylinder heads to come back. The new motor is in the car though, just missing those important heads. lol Talked w/ Craig today and the valves will be there Friday. I should see the heads first of next week. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

7.35" pushrods will be fine.
