Default Mti Stg2 R Heads

Well is anyone runing this type of heads with stock bottom end,and want to
know what size of cam are ya'll runing
my heads are 205/160 unmill.

I'm using 2E's with a C1 right now. The cam is a 222/222 .566/112. It sees 6700 from time to time.

2r's like the x1. more than a few people made 445 rwhp with that setup. specs are 230 227 .591 .571 lsa112 or 114

Yeah but how many are running big cams over 232 duration and 580-600 lift?

i think jeff is getting at the g5x2 you were talking about. i'm with him on that. i wouldn't put that cam in. the biggest i would put in would be a FMS f13. its bigger than the x1, and is on a traditional split rather than a reverse split. mti also has a g1 cam out now, with is 228 232 .588 .575 lsa 113. it's what they're billing as their nitrous cam, but it should work well in n/a application too.

Jordan good guess but Sal already knows the G5X2 is too big for his application we are looking at a coulple of custom grinds that we cam up with and were just trying to get an idea of what other people are running etc... The G5X2 is 232/240 not where we are talking about etc... We were looking at 232 588 238 595 112LSA I have a back up if there is going to be an issues of valve clearance etc... That is what we are getting at LOL!
