Question biggest cube daily driver?

i had originally planned on not touching my stock block, but i've read so much about it i'm convinced now. i've looked around through some of the threads here and the only thing i've been getting is "how big is the limit" kind of questions. i wanted to know how big i can safely go on an ls1 block and still have daily driver reliability. i was really looking at the 427 but am open to any suggestions right now. and also, which companies make good internals (crank, pistons, rods, bearings, etc.) i would love to save a little money if i can, but i don't want poor quality parts. also, i'm going to be going with either a turbo or a blower in the near future, and if there's anything else besides a low CR that i need to know for the internals. any help would be tremendously appreciated. thanks.

theres like at leasts 4 stroker threads just on the first page all of which answer your question

if your looking to save money then throw the 427 out the window. look into a 383 or a 408 iron block or SLP's new 402 shortblocks. biggest you can go on the ls1 block w/o resleaving is 395ci if i recall. resleave and you can go up to 454 w/ the appropriate stroke.

I would go for either 402 or 408.
I was looking at it myself and HPE has a good 408 for around $3800 I believe.
